Albeit the news is a little late.....Wyandotte County Parks & Recreation entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on November 20th, 2009 with the Trail Masons Association. This MOU documents that the Trail Masons are allowed to develop, build and maintain bridle, hiking and mountain biking trails at Wyandotte County Lake Park. This is a very big deal for both the UGWC and the Trail Masons. This MOU is in affect for the next five years with the option of renewal at that time. Please watch for more workday announcements and updates on our progress. There is much opportunity for sustainable trails WyCo. Come out sometime, check out the new trails and join us on a workday or two. You'll be amazed at the difference between the new and old.......
